Melissa Hussey - Dance Cover Teacher

Miss Melissa started her dance training at the tender age of 3, studying all theatre and dancesport branches offered at ACS Dance Centre. During her early dance career, she appeared in two numbers in the first ever Dance Proms, held at the Royal Albert Hall and she has also been a Grand finalist at the ISTD National Disco Freestyle competition in Guildford. Since starting her dance teaching career, Miss Melissa has assisted and taught both Disco freestyle, Latin and Ballroom as well as Ballet, Tap and Modern. She has also demonstrated at the prestigious ISTD Disco Congress, and  enjoys choreographing for Disco Freestyle competitions and Shows. As well as being a fully qualified ISTD teacher, Miss Melissa graduated as a Primary Teacher at The University of Greenwich with an Upper Second Class Honours and has been teaching for 7 years. During this time she has choreographed and directed annual musicals at her School such as 'The Lion King' and 'Annie'.
