WELCOME!

Hey everyone,

Thank you for visiting our page!  Here’s just a little something on why we started our school!

I attended a part-time performing arts school on Saturdays from 5 years old in Chislehurst, Kent, where my journey began.  At the age of 11, I was awarded a scholarship to train full time at the ‘Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts’ in Barbican, London. Italia Conti gave me an excellent foundation and start to my career – the outstanding training and expertise helped me so much.  I am now extremely excited to have my own performing arts academy in Chelmsford, Essex with my mum, Beverley, and sister, Charlie-Ann.  I was the kid constantly singing to the radio in the car winding my brother up, tap dancing in Mcdonald’s queues, watching ‘Chicago’ on repeat, and scowering the newspaper for auditions and open mic nights, so, my whole family lived and breathed it too.  It has always been a dream of mine to start a school with my family and it is our aim to help give young performers the opportunity I had starting out.  I love seeing students' progress, when they beam from ear to ear at our shows, and when they come into the canteen after a class with so much energy, it takes me right back to where I started.

We are delighted to use the excellent facilities of Chelmsford County High School for Girls, to run our Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday classes.

We wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities and classes are offered to pupils between 3 and 18+, ranging from complete beginners to advanced.  Whether it’s just for a bit of fun, physical and social development or a serious step towards a long-term career, the emphasis is on everyone enjoying themselves!  It is also superb for building confidence, making friends, self-belief and learning new skills.

We believe in young performers gaining the right ISTD, LAMDA and LCM qualifications for their CV’s.  Our students have worked so hard and achieved amazing results so far.  If pupils wish to go into the industry, we encourage extra training at full time colleges.  To audition for a place, our school can help with all the preparation.  Many of our students have gone on to do this and have been awarded scholarships and DADA’s.

We are always here for advice and support at any time so please do let us know if you have any questions.

Lots of love and to all aspiring performers - dream big!
