Miss Mia started training at the age of 3 participating in baby ballet and tap classes. By the age of 8 she began training in Latin and Ballroom dancing with the ISTD at ACS Dance Centre, placing in the finals of many competitions as well as taking various exams and passing each with Honours. Mia trains at Aspire School of Dance and has broadened her genres of dance including ISTD Ballet and Disco Freestyle as well as Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Tap dance and lyrcal. Mia qualified for the ISTD National Grand finals in 2018 and 2019 and took home the national title of 7th Place in Pairs and 5th in Solos in 2019. Before joining her current dance school she studied at a performing arts academy for 2 years and was a main role in a Wizard of Oz production.  In 2019, Mia demonstrated and performed at the  prestigious ISTD dance exchange lecture - assisting Miss Georgia's Contemporary and Slow work Lecture. Mia has recently passed her ISTD Peggy Spencer Award examination which is the final exam in Disco Freestyle before taking teaching qualifications. In 2022, Mia won the Senior Miss STARZUK title and now trains with our Elite competition team competing with us at the Dance World Cup 2022.
