Miss Katie started her training at her local performing arts school from the age of just 3.

Her first appearance on the west end was in ‘Les Misérables’ at The Palace Theatre in 1999. This was one of many appearances on the west end. Other shows including ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ at the London Pallidum to the original cast of ‘Billy Elliot’ at The Victoria Palace. She also done a UK tour of the classic ‘Annie’.

Katie went on to continue her training at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Barbican as a full-time performing student, graduating with a Trinity Diploma in performing arts in 2011. During her time at Italia Conti, she featured in a film (Parkville Pictures) called Borrowed Time. Alongside this, she joined a Motown Tribute Band where she would perform most weekends at events across the UK.

Throughout her three-year course she realised her main passion was in singing and went onto song writing and recording. Alongside her other commitments she then started gigging solo around London at open mic nights which then went onto paid gigs.

Since then, she has joined three other female vocalists to create a vocal harmony group called ‘Sorella’ who sing at Corporate and private events. They also featured as headline acts on Holland and America and P&O cruises.

Miss Katie would like to add ‘I have enjoyed my first term at Pixie Lott Performing Arts Academy, which is bursting with talent! I can’t wait to see more and be a part of the students performing arts journeys.’
